Playa Venao & Punta Mala
From April 15 through September 15 we fish the Azuero Peninsula. Playa Venao is a quiet black-sand beach town where the jungle meets the ocean, and Punta Mala sits off the tip of the peninsula. Ask about 3 and 4 day all-inclusive packages.

Black sand, world-class surf and very few crowds. A laid-back beach resort town with boutique hotels and surf lodges, so the whole group has something to enjoy while you fish.

Where do we leave from?
Buenaventura Marina in Rio Hato, Panama, about an hour and a half drive from Panama City.
What can I catch?
Mahi mahi, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, black and blue marlin, skipjack tuna, sierra mackerel and jack crevalle, depending on season and conditions.
I’ve never fished before. Is that OK?
Yes. We welcome everyone from first-timers to seasoned anglers. The captain and crew handle the tackle and show you what to do.
Is there a bathroom on board?
Yes. The Listo has a clean indoor restroom and a comfortable cabin.
When are the Playa Venao and Punta Mala trips?
April 15 through September 15 each year, with 3 and 4 day all-inclusive packages.
